Getting excited for October!

A few of us from the OpenDoor Woman’s Recovery Alliance event committee recently toured the Ohio Statehouse so we could get a feel for the space, walk through the details, and start picturing how everything will come together for the event.

And what a setting. The Statehouse is absolutely beautiful—there were so many details I had to stop and photograph, including the gorgeous stained-glass Seal of Ohio.

There’s something special about seeing an event begin to take shape before the guests ever arrive. So much thought goes into the little details, and I’m grateful to be part of a group of women working together to make the Morning of Hope event meaningful.

Now I’m even more excited to see this space filled with people supporting such an important mission in October. ❤️

I’ve been wanting to check this out…and I finally made it to the Wayfair store near Polaris!

I started with a quick video because I was genuinely excited to see what it looked like in person—and then, as you can probably tell from all the pictures, I found plenty to look at.

Furniture, lighting, décor, rugs, little design details everywhere…this is definitely the kind of place where you can go in “just to look” and suddenly start mentally redecorating half your house.

I love seeing new home and design stores open around Central Ohio, especially because I’m always picking up ideas for clients—and, let’s be honest, for myself too.

One thing I definitely miss having in my backyard when I’m in Florida… Fox in the Snow. ☕❤️

So every month when I’m back in Central Ohio meeting with clients, I try to find time for a stop—even if it’s just long enough for a really good cappuccino.

And then, of course, you walk past THIS bakery case and suddenly “just coffee” becomes a much harder commitment.

Some places just feel like part of being home, and Fox in the Snow is definitely one of those for me.
