🚨 Broward County Market Update: Proposed Homestead Exemption Change

A new proposal in Florida could potentially increase the homestead exemption for county and city property taxes over the next few years:

$50,000 → $150,000 → $250,000

If approved by voters in the upcoming November election, this could reduce the taxable value of many homeowners’ properties and potentially lower annual property tax obligations.

⚠️ Please note: This proposal is not yet finalized and must be approved by voters.
