Here are the three ways to get started:

✅ Upgrade your metals first! Manufacturers have likely released more innovative and stronger materials that also look more modern, such as aluminum, stainless steel, and copper.

✅ Update your backsplash. It's an easy and relatively less expensive way to freshen up your kitchen!

✅ Modernize your countertops. Outdated kitchen countertops usually contain unsightly tile-and-grout, but the countertops of today are even stronger, more beautiful, and easier to take care of. (Like natural stones!)

There's a question asked all the time. "Should I sell my home before I invest in a new home?"

It depends on your situation.

It might not be the clear answer you were hoping for, but here's an explanation that might make the decision more straightforward:

If you need access to your home's equity to buy your new piece of property, selling your home first can help! Especially if you're in a buyer's market, (when there are more buyers than houses on the market), selling before buying can make more sense because prices are relatively lower.

However, there's a caveat to this. If you sell first, you'll need temporary housing while you wait for your new home to be finalized.

So it depends on what your priorities are and what your situation looks like!
