Does that mean I'm going to text, email, or call you to see if you are ready now, every 10min? Heck no!
But when you are ready so am I!

How does everyone else spend their Labor Day weekends?!

My favorite way is to see what kind of home improvement projects I can come up with! I usually bite off more than I can chew 😅 but my husband is always there to bail me out, and help me finish them. I think he secretly kinda likes it 😁! Or at least I will keep telling myself that 🤷‍♀️

This is a hard one, but a frequent topic of conversation. What home improvement projects will net me the most when I sell my home? It may seem like an easy question but it's not an easy answer.

Markets vary
Home conditions vary
People's tastes vary
Budgets vary
Goals vary

And all of those things factor in on whether or not a big renovation is worth it. Sometimes paint, a deep clean, and a declutter session are all you need, and sometimes, structural issues need to be addressed.

During a Seller's market you might be able to slap lipstick 💄 💋 on a pig and sell for top dollar.

During a Buyer's market that is rarely the case.

So if you are thinking about selling in the near future it's worth your time to speak with an agent and see what will truly help sell your home. Skipping that conversation could cost you $$$$

If you don't see anything wrong with this video, this post is for you!

I can't tell you how many times I go into homes and see things like this. It screams I don't care! And if you don't care about the small things like, miss matched or missing light bulbs, Buyer's start to ask what else didn't they care about?

Things that can turn Buyer's away immediately are often small things that don't require a lot of money to fix.

Missing or mismatched light bulbs
Piles of pet hair in corners or on furniture
Dirty laundry that's visible
Dirty refrigerators (YES they will look in there too!)
Smells (trash/pets/litterboxes)

So PLEASE 🙏🏼 take the time to deep clean and declutter prior to, and while listing your home! It just might make you more money! And who doesn't like that?
