This Thursday, Gil slept in until 4:02 AM, triggering immediate concern. By 4:03, we had SWAT conducting a full-scale wellness check.

Thankfully, Gil was alive, well, and absolutely furious about the accusation.

After an extensive investigation, it was determined that his WHOOP was undergoing a firmware update and Gil had, in fact, been awake before 4:00 AM.

His reputation has been restored. The officers have been released. WHOOP will be hearing from his attorneys.🤣

In reality, earlier this week, BRX Development had the opportunity to put one of our Hanover teardown properties to work one final time—before the excavators arrive.

We turned the property over to the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit, a regional SWAT team serving more than 20 municipalities from Concord to Lincoln, for real-world tactical training.

Instead of training in a controlled facility, these first responders were able to work inside an actual building scheduled for demolition—giving them the freedom to conduct realistic entry, search, breaching, and tactical exercises in an environment that closely mirrors the situations they may encounter in the field.

For us, it was a building headed for demolition. For them, it was an opportunity to train, sharpen their skills, and better prepare for the moment when those skills may save a life.

We were proud to give the property one last purpose—and even prouder to support the men and women who stand ready to respond when our communities need them most.

Not every BRX Development project starts with a groundbreaking. Sometimes it starts with a SWAT team.

That's exactly why we chose LSL studs for this building. Unlike conventional lumber, LSL is engineered to stay straight, resist twisting, bowing, and shrinking, helping ensure today's perfectly framed openings remain true for years to come.

With the large window openings on this project, precision matters. Every opening needs to stay exactly where it was designed, and LSL gives us that confidence.

Monday, we start erecting structural steel, and then it's on to the residential units above.

This morning, as the first light broke over the horizon, our team was already on site getting a temporary Starlink system installed for our friends at BRX Development. When you're managing active construction projects, reliable internet isn't a luxury—it's essential for communication, scheduling, inspections, security cameras, and keeping every trade connected.

What an incredible and historic day for New Hampshire!

BRX Development is honored to have hosted the groundbreaking of New Hampshire's first-ever CPACER housing project. We are deeply grateful to Governor Kelly Ayotte, Senators Carson and Innis, our lending partners, investors, elected officials, and the entire project team for joining us to celebrate this milestone.

This project represents more than new housing—it demonstrates what is possible when the public and private sectors work together to create innovative financing solutions that help deliver the affordable and attainable homes our communities desperately need.

We are incredibly proud to invite our friends, partners, investors, and members of the community to celebrate a historic milestone for the Upper Valley.

Join us for the groundbreaking of The Brickyard in Lebanon, New Hampshire!

This transformational development will bring nearly 500 new homes to the Upper Valley (51 for sale townhomes and 423 units of apartment homes), helping address one of New Hampshire's most pressing needs—high-quality housing for families, professionals, and the local workforce.

We are honored to be joined by Governor Kelly Ayotte, local and state elected officials, community leaders, and many of the incredible people who helped make this project possible.

This project also marks another major milestone for New Hampshire as BRX Development secured the state's first C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing for a residential development. C-PACE is an innovative financing program that allows developers to fund long-term energy efficiency, sustainability, and resiliency improvements with low-cost, long-term capital—making projects like this more environmentally responsible while helping deliver much-needed housing.

This would never have been possible without our outstanding lending partners, brokers, consultants, design professionals, the incredible team at Apex Real Estate, and the talented subcontractors who build alongside us throughout New England. Most importantly, thank you to the dedicated BRX Development team whose vision, perseverance, and countless hours made this day possible.

This month, we broke ground on the first multifamily building at Brickyard in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Today, as construction continues to move forward, it's exciting to see years of planning, engineering, approvals, and hard work taking shape in the field.

This building is the first of five multifamily buildings planned as part of a development that will ultimately bring more than 400 new homes to the Upper Valley. What was once a concept on paper is now becoming a reality, one foundation, one wall, and one building at a time.

Lebanon continues to be one of the most dynamic communities in New England, driven by world-class healthcare, education, and innovation. We are proud to be contributing much-needed housing to support the region's continued growth.

A tremendous thank you to our partners, consultants, contractors, lenders, and the City of Lebanon for helping make this project possible.

After months of blasting through solid ledge, we are excited to announce that excavation for the foundation of our mixed-use building is officially underway.

This project represents more than just another building—it will serve as the Southern New Hampshire headquarters for BRX Development and Apex Real Estate, bringing together development, construction, and real estate services under one roof in the heart of Windham.

Every great project starts below grade. Before the steel, before the framing, before the finished spaces, there is the hard work of moving earth, overcoming obstacles, and building a foundation designed to last for generations. Today marks another major milestone in that journey.
