The conversation and creativity flowed as easily as the watercolors we put on paper.

For this quarter's Windsor women's networking event -" the Art of Business", we explored color theory, contrast, and why we gravitate towards certain hues in our life and business.

It's no secret, we are a fan of teals, and greens, with a mix of high contrast, black and white at Windsor Worx.

Others found themselves favoring bright pinks, muted pastels, or even some fiery reds and oranges.

Whatever colors light you up, they often say a lot about our personalities, goals, and dreams.

It was so lovely to explore our personal color theories with art therapist, Nancy DeNicolo and a great group of ladies from across the region.

Nearly 10 years into owning a brick and mortar business and 3 years at our Windsor Worx space has made me a real "Jill of All Trades".

While we have had great luck with some trades (electrical, handyman, etc) it's not always a pleasant or empowering experience for a female business owner ...

Condescending tones, "is your husband involved in the business", over pricing or scoping a project... Fun stuff.

So over time I learned to take things into my own hands... literally. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

And of course it's extra rewarding working on the space FOR our incredible members.

Today's project was for the office door at Food First MD by Dr. Christine Najjar. An incredible lady and member of our community, on a mission to revamp YOUR wellness.

Temps are up and we are here for it!
While the AC is cranking, patio season is happening outside and we are loving how it's coming together this year!

A little refresh for our now 3 year old sign! ( I know... Time flies) And the clamantis (those gorgeous purple climbing flowers) in our lattice planters not only survived the winter outside... But came back stronger and even more beautiful and they are currently putting on a SHOW!

Our members and guests love to sneak outside between calls, or to eat lunch, and we love to spoil them with this incredible vignette for their workday vibe.

All it took was some string lights and floral friends to amp up the vibe outside on our patio.
