Learning and dancing with my husband has reminded me how powerful it is to belong to a community — to meet people, build friendships, challenge our minds, stay active, laugh, learn, and simply enjoy being present.

Dance teaches us rhythm, patience, confidence, connection… and sometimes even how to recover gracefully when we miss a step. 😊

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

250 years young and still dreaming big.

This year feels extra special for us. A decade ago we chose California as home, and today we get to celebrate both this incredible nation's birthday and everything we've built here since.

Ten years ago we arrived with big dreams and an even bigger to-do list. Today my husband Gabriel is a Digital Certifier for Brazilian notarial services and a licensed Notary here in California, and I get to help families find their place in this country as a Realtor.

We grew, we learned, and now our work is about giving back, helping our community navigate this journey with the same support we wish we'd had when we started.
Thank you, America, for the opportunities, the freedom, and the chance to build a life we're proud of.

Neste corte conto uma história real que aconteceu com uma família de brasileiros aqui na Califórnia.

Ela veio com os dois filhos, o marido ficou em São Paulo terminando umas coisas por lá, e o plano era simples: alugar, organizar a casa e começar a vida nova em Los Angeles.

O que ninguém esperava era o vizinho.

Foi nessa hora que o meu trabalho deixou de ser só encontrar o imóvel certo. Inspeção, conversa direta com o dono, suporte em inglês, e principalmente estar presente quando ela não sabia o que fazer ou como reagir.

Relocation envolve muito mais do que assinar um contrato de aluguel. Envolve ter alguém do seu lado quando o inesperado acontece, ainda mais quando você está se adaptando ao idioma e às regras daqui.

Ten years of renting in California. And last week, I finally got the keys to my own home.

I'm not going to pretend the process was easy. It wasn't. But standing inside that house for the first time as the owner? Every late night and hard decision made sense.

This is what chasing a dream actually looks like up close.

Bathroom before: bare drywall, wires hanging from the ceiling, a ladder and tools where a sink should be.

Bathroom after: the room I now show off first when anyone visits.
Ten years renting and I never got to rip anything out and start over. This one's personal.

Boxes everywhere, I can't find anything, and I have no idea where to even start.

But I am smiling through all of it because this is MY place. I own this. I actually own this.

Years of renting, years of waiting, and now I'm standing in the middle of this beautiful mess and I just feel... really, really proud. I'm taking you along for the whole journey. The chaos, the progress, and the big reveal at the end.

Gente, que momento!

Depois de 10 anos morando nos EUA, finalmente estou na porta da minha própria casa. 🏡

Sou corretora há quase 6 anos e, mesmo conhecendo o mercado por dentro, fiquei um bom tempo pagando aluguel. Não porque não podia comprar. Porque ainda não tinha me organizado para isso.

Foi só quando parei de ignorar os números que entendi: o aluguel carrega tudo junto, imposto, taxa, HOA. No fim, é dinheiro que vai embora todo mês sem construir nada.

Me organizei, guardei todo mês e comprei. Sobre o valor da entrada, é possível entrar com 3,5%, 5%, 10% ou até 20%. Conversando, eu te ajudo a entender qual faz mais sentido pra você.
