Yuma then vs. Yuma now… and I could talk about this one all day!

Before Yuma Palms, we had Southgate Mall. THAT was our mall. If you grew up here, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

And date night? Jack & Rosie’s was the place to go. Now that same spot is JT’s, Rover City Grill, and Julieanna's just to name a few and every time I’m over there, I can’t help but think about how much Yuma has changed.

Don’t even get me started on the movie theater…! there were no Harkins, it was the Mandarin cinema and plaza 5 theater.

I’ve had a front-row seat to this community growing, new businesses coming in, neighborhoods popping up and parts of town looking completely different than they did 20+ years ago.

But there’s still so much about Yuma that feels like the Yuma I’ve always known and loved. 🤍
