A very quick fix for our new clients, managing the Air BnB's.

The client notified us of a two-lever switch that needed urgent attention.

We arrived prepared and very quickly sorted out the issue.

The dimming module had failed, I suspect the buttons may have then been pushed too hard in an attempt to get it to work, causing the switches to break.

Once again, we arrived prepared. I personally sorted this one out, as I often do in my business. Yes. I get my hands dirty very often with my guys.

My suspicions of the faulty module were correct, so I quickly replaced it and fitted the new switches. Boom, happy client and on to the next job.

My client called to say they had a bit of rusty water coming through the taps and filters were becoming blocked, I immediately thought that's signs of a zinc anode that has seen the end of it's lifespan a while ago already. Externally, there was also signs of corrosion on the gasket and fl**ge.

We proceeded to strip the geyser and beging the internal cleaning process. Boy oh boy, what a mess these jobs can be. Fortunately we've carried out geyser refurbs quite a number of times and so we went to battle fully prepared.

As you can see in the photos, corrosion had set in worse than the cancers in some political parties.

Nonetheless, we were armed and ready for this battle.
(Note, not all the parts we replaced have been pictured here).

A well executed job had us finish the job slightly before schedule and everything is restored and we've brought this 200L Kwikot geyser back to its former glory.

Once again, we have another very happy repeat customer, saving approximately R7 500. 00 on a replacement geyser.

Another quick installation for a long standing client of ours.

The old set-up was taking ridiculously long to heat up. K***s were missing. The extractor was on its way to retirement and overall the old set-up had certainly seen better days.

I'll you guys soon again for some counter tops and bookshelfs that need to be replaced.

Another quick fix for a new client of ours. This company manages a number of Air BnB's on the Atlantic seaboard.

The quests were complaining about 2 shower doors, both not being able to close.

I immediately knew what the issue was and so proceeded to carry out the servicing by replacing all the paper gaskets with the silicone type.

Both doors closing nice and easy now...sagging eliminated.

Once again we have a happy client and they have happy guests in the accommodation.

The client has requested quotes for another 6 jobs because of effec8ent, friendly and experienced workmanship.

Some before and after photos of a replica indoor braai.

The client needed to replace the complete braai installation on a like for like basis. As many would know, with building it isn't always the case.

After one or two niggles and my staff stepping on a highly corroded fibreglass sheet, we had to replace that one section with a more uv resistant ply-carb 'sky-light'. We replaced this at our cost. (Nobody was injured during the making of this...😂)

A 3 day job, turned out to be a 6 day job due to some minor changes that were decided in retrospect.

Overall, a new braai, a new build and a new flue was installed with one minor leak on the roof. This sort of thing happens sometimes when new and old materials are 'knitted' together. This was remedies a day after the client let us know.

Our main objective is to always deliver a quality product, and keep a happy client a client of ours.

Some before & after photos of recent woodworks completed.

Client called to say he had a few items that required attention. Some a tad more than others.

So as you can see only the sashes (opening windows) were replaced as the client felt the frames were still good.

The wood was completely rotten in certain areas of the frame and cannot be restored. This must be removed completely or replaced outright.

Woodwork underwent a complete strip, sand & prepared for a 2 coat application for the harsh Stellenbosch summer sun and rather wet winters.

The reason for the rot is becauze of the elevation of this side pretty much doesn't see any sun for most of the year.

WOW! This makes it all more worth the while. This is the job satisfaction of the end product. Feeling blessed to have received this letter from one of my clients. One where we met the deadlines and completed everything to a perfect finish. Thank you...🙏🏽

This particular project included a refurb in the kitchen & bathroom, paint the apartment and restore many other smaller maintenance issues including some electrical, plumbing, windows and doors issues....Job complete! 👏🏽

Let's start small today with an old Singer Sewing Machine frame. After our shot blaster, an external service provider, let us down due to being ill, and us sitting with a tight deadline to have a container packed at a said date, we had no option but to take this into our own hands.

The frame had so many layers of paint on it, it probably added a few kilos. We proceeded to strip this frame down to bare metal and then spray-paint it with steel galvanising spray and then two coats of black sheen acrylic paint. The frame was finished off with a nice piece of 10mm glass with polished edges, to make for an awesome little table/desk/showpiece. The table is now en-route to the USA.

The results...WELL, even I stood back and gave a big WOW. The client on the other hand was even more impressed and could not stop thanking me for what did and how good it looked. She was really impressed that we managed to pull it off and have it ready for shipping.
