There are now three ways to work with Epic Air, and most people only know about one of them.

Fly with us.
We put the aircraft over your site and hand you the data. LiDAR survey, photogrammetry, thermal inspection, wind turbine blades, solar arrays, roofs, progress and volumes. You get the deliverable, not the flight.

Buy with us.
Epic Air is a registered DJI reseller. If your operation flies often enough to justify owning the capability, we supply the industrial platform and payloads, configured and ready, from people who fly the same kit commercially.

Most people picture a video file at the end of a drone survey. What actually arrives is something your team can work from.

Here is what a single flight leaves behind:

Orthomosaic map — a georeferenced aerial image of your site, true to scale. It opens in AutoCAD, QGIS and the tools your team already uses, and you can measure distances and areas directly off it.

Point cloud — millions of individually measured points, each carrying a real position and elevation. This is where volumes, heights and slopes come from.

Terrain surface — banks, terraces and level changes captured as a measured surface, accurate enough to design against.

Section profiles — cut a line anywhere across the site and read the heights along it, without sending anyone back out.

No shutdown in most cases, no one climbing anything, and processed data back with you inside 48 hours.

Epic Air flies LiDAR surveys, thermal inspections, and aerial mapping across Southern Africa. LiDAR measures through vegetation, so you get the real terrain under bush and trees, accurate volumes on a stockpile, and contour models your team can build directly.

Many of the businesses we work with had never commissioned an aerial survey before their first project with us, so we start every one the same way: a free 20-minute scoping call where we work out whether flying your site is actually worth it. A failing solar panel doesn't beep. It doesn't flash a warning light. It just quietly runs hot, drops its output, and drags the panels around it down with it.

From the ground, you'd never know.

We fly a thermal drone over the array and read every panel in minutes. Hotspots, dead cells, failed bypass diodes, soiling and shading - all of it shows up in the infrared, mapped to the exact panel so your team knows precisely where to go.

Winter is the time to do it. You want the array at full health going into summer, not limping through your highest-yield months.

If your array hasn't been scanned since it was commissioned, there's almost certainly generation you're not getting paid for.
