"We had a wonderful stay at Talbot Trout Farm, Protea Cottage and truly enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
The double-sided fireplace was a standout feature, creating a warm and inviting space, while the mini gas Weber grill and effortless Weber braai made outdoor cooking an absolute pleasure.
We were especially grateful for the thoughtful complimentary jam, honey, eggs, rusks and Anna's sweet surprise — it was such a lovely and unexpected touch that made our stay even more special.
Fishing proved to be a bit challenging, but still rewarding—we managed to catch a mix of brown and rainbow trout.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be back before winter is over.
