Today’s post is not about buying or selling property — it is about supporting our community. ❤️

Since Sunday, 10 May 2026, the wind and rain has shown us their full force. The devastating floods across the Breede Valley have left towns cut off, families unable to stay in their homes, homes flooded, vineyards destroyed, and so much more.

Now the mopping-up operations begin.

Not all of us can help rebuild roads or bridges, but every small act of kindness can make a difference. Help a neighbor or friend in need. Support local businesses and wineries by buying online — they will find a way to deliver. Support local animal welfare organisations and community initiatives.

A special mention to John Moore Animal Welfare Foundation , who is doing incredible work in the Robertson community during this difficult time. They are in desperate need of food and blankets for the cats and dogs of the community. If you can help then it can be dropped off at Cornerstone Vet in Robertson.
