Mid-month update from Greater Blouberg.

Just closed on a two-bedroom townhouse, sold for the full asking price. Grateful for another smooth transaction and a happy client on the other side of it.

Also picked up Silver Sales Status for Q2 2026 at the Harcourts Regional Awards, held at Lord Charles in Stellenbosch. Proud of the consistency behind this one; it reflects the work put in month after month across Blouberg and the surrounding areas.

About a year and a half into selling property, I received my first platinum sales award. It meant a lot.

Right after the ceremony, a senior partner I respect pulled me aside and said:

“Keep it up. You’ll find your stride in year three.”

At the time, I didn’t fully buy it. It felt like he was brushing off the run I was on, like it might just be timing.

Looking back, he was right.

I was focused on the win. He was focused on consistency. Real control in this business is knowing where your next five deals are coming from, not celebrating the last one.

That shift has taken time to sink in. He wasn’t downplaying anything. He was pointing out what’s possible when things start to click.

From January to April 2026, I’ve put five deals together:

• R2 500 000
• R1 890 000
• R1 250 000
• R960 000
• R970 000

This is usually where I would ease off a bit. Reset. Take it in.

Not this time.

This feels like the moment to lean in. To treat momentum carefully and keep it moving while it’s there.

January didn’t slow down from the word go. I’ve been quiet on the socials, so here’s a quick monthly wrap up.

Three proprties sold with just over R3.18m in total sales volume. Two proerties sold in-house, one shared with another agency. Three additional listings signed and a strong pipeline in motion. Find a link to all my current stock below.

In the next decade, I believe half of today’s real estate agents will no longer be in the business.

Not because of AI. Not because of online platforms. But because the middle ground will disappear.

Some agents earn trust the traditional way through calls, relationships, and relentless prospecting. Others build scale and reputation using systems, content, and leverage.

Mastering both is what separates the fleeting from the lasting; these are the agents still winning in a decade.
