At the foot of the mighty Dachstein glacier, at walking distance of the cozy little town Schladming, you’ll find a lovely place to have a relaxing holiday, Piekvier Lodge! ian houses caused by our influences. Here you can feel at home, away from home. The view is amazing over the rooftops of Schladming, at the slopes on the other side. We are surrounded by fields and forrests but only a small walk away from the city center (10/15min). The busstop is in front of the house (winter) and at the end of our street (rest of the year) and will bring you within minutes to all central places in these surroundings. Our three lodges offer several kind of apartments for 2 – 12 persons. They are separated by our garden which is a meeting place for all kids and adults during their holiday. In the garden we have a playground, a bbq and campfire pit and a big cozy gardenhouse. SURROUNDINGS
The seasons appear here in their true origin. The breathtaking nature is a living painting to walk, sport or relax in. The four mountains are connected by slopes and gondels. It has a lot to offer for both the experienced skier / boarder as beginners and kids. There are skiparks to learn skiing in a playfull way and funparks to challenge the pro’s. Along the slopes there are lots of cozy mountainhuts to warm up with a chocolat milk, glühwein or a typical Austrian meal. At the direct surroundings there are all kind of wintersports like langlaufen, snowshoe walkig, fatbiking, rodelen, skitours, horse sledges and curling. In the other seasons it’s amazing for walks, hikes, e-biking, mountainbiking, climbing, swimming, rafting, horesbackriding, paragliding, golfing, rodelen, archery and lots more! SCHLADMING
The small city Schladming is reachable by foot. The old city wall and gates shows Schladmings history. Everything you need you’ll find in the city centre. Several shops, supermarkets and loads of affordable restaurants to eat typical Austrian or Italian, Burgers or Mexican. MEREL & MICHAEL
We manage the Piekvier lodges with our hearth and soul. Michael partly grew up in Schladming and his family has been living at this very same spot for ages. After being in Holland for 11 years we got the chance offered to take over this farm and so we moved with our two kids. We love nature and animals so you will see us a lot outdoors. In our free time you will find us at the mountains; skiing, walking or horseback riding. We love to tell you more about Schladming at our campfire evenings.
