Elizabeth Park Schools is proud to be member of Community Hubs Australia. Our primary goals are to create a welcoming space where community members can connect with each other, make new friends, learn new skills, and to run programs that are of interest to the wider Elizabeth community. The hub is open to everyone; you do not need to be a school family to attend programs. We are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in helping with a program, running your own program, or assisting in creche or admin jobs, come and have a chat with either Helen or Emma. We have two Community Hub Leaders: Helen Teague and Emma Turner. For more information about the hub or a specific program, contact the school on (08) 8255 1160. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Women’s Health Week Morning Tea. It was a wonderful morning filled with connection, conversation, games and laughter. Let’s continue to prioritise our health and wellbeing and support each other daily.

Yesterday in playgroup we made colourful sheep to celebrate our Book Week theme. After our craft, we read “ Where is the Green Sheep?” By Mem Fox. The morning began with move and groove in the school gym!
Playgroup is a great way for children to learn new skills including turn taking, sharing, plus develop necessary social skills.
Our playgroup runs every Wednesday morning in the school term, all welcome

Elizabeth Park School Community Hub Friendly Conversational English Class is on Tuesdays from 9.30 am - 12.30 pm. Improve your English, build confidence and connect with other members of the community.
Our Sewing group is very popular and new curtains are being made for our hub.

Today in playgroup our theme was dinosaurs. We read Magic Library Dinosaur Trail. The children were engaged in painting their own dinosaur creations. The session began with move and groove in the gym where they enjoyed free play to music. Followed by an outdoor preschool play.

Our first mosaic session was an absolute success! 🎨✨

Everyone created their unique designs and got started breaking up tiles to bring their ideas to life. It was amazing to see the creativity, excitement, and teamwork throughout the session. We can’t wait to see how these beautiful mosaics turn out!

Today we welcomed Ella Shaw Labour MP for Elizabeth to our Community Hub during our English class.

It was great to share the amazing work happening in our hub and showcase our dedicated participants.

Ella took time to speak with the families , hear their stories and witness the positive impact hubs have in our community.

Thank you Ella for visiting and supporting our school and community.
