When you’re designing a custom home, I always encourage clients to think about flexibility. Not just what you need today, but what you might want in five or ten years.

Power points are inexpensive during construction, but very costly later. Building smart means giving yourself the luxury of options.

We’re back on site at our 20 FWD project, and things have moved quickly since our last update.

When we last filmed, the timber framing was still exposed. Since then, we’ve completed all internal linings, the external texture coating is on, and the staircase has been installed. The space is really starting to take shape now and you can feel the proportions of the home coming together.

We’re currently preparing for first coat of paint, which is always a turning point in the build. It brings everything to life and gives the client their first real sense of the finished product.
