We’re pleased to welcome Urbex to Paradise Garden Shopping Village, securing a 91sqm ground-floor tenancy on a three-year lease.

The new space will operate as a display suite and office supporting Urbex’s Southern Thornlands development, with opening expected before the end of the year.

Further leasing opportunities remain available, with up to 250sqm on the ground floor and additional space on Level 1, suitable for a range of retail, commercial, service and food and beverage uses.

We’re pleased to announce that GEON has been appointed as Property Manager for 111 Charters Towers Road, Hyde Park, Townsville.

Prominently positioned along one of Townsville’s key commercial corridors, the property comprises a 1,631sqm two-storey commercial office building with 33 on-site car parks and a flexible multi-tenancy configuration.

We are excited to announce that Hungry Jack’s is now open and trading strongly at 1199 Riverway Drive, Rasmussen, Townsville.

Developed by GEON on behalf of the landowners, the project has delivered a new food and beverage offering adjacent to Riverway Plaza, adding to the amenity of the growing Upper Ross region.

Hungry Jack’s has committed to a 12-year lease, with the new restaurant featuring a dual-lane drive-through and prominent frontage to Riverway Drive.

The project represents another strong development outcome delivered in Townsville contributing to the continued growth and evolution of the Upper Ross precinct.

Leasing momentum continues at Riverway Plaza.

GEON has secured Lillywhite Group for a new 120sqm* liquor retail tenancy in Stage 2, positioned directly in front of the new Coles supermarket.

The experienced regional operator has committed to a 10-year lease, with two further five-year options.

The latest commitment adds to the growing Stage 2 retail mix, with Coles and Snap Fitness already secured and construction progressing on the expansion.

With further retail opportunities still available, now is the time to be part of the next stage of Riverway Plaza.

A great day on the pitch with great people!

Recently, we hosted the inaugural GEON Cricket Day at Windsor Park, bringing together clients, partners and friends for a day of cricket, conversation and a bit of healthy competition!

At GEON, we know the best relationships are built well beyond the boardroom. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, catch up and thank the people we work alongside throughout the year.

A shopfront that’s hard to miss!

Riverway Meats in Rasmussen is turning heads with a bold new addition to its Townsville premises.

The local butcher has transformed the side of its building with a larger-than-life mural celebrating the personality behind the business and its connection to the local community.

Located on Riverway Drive, Rasmussen, at a property managed by GEON, it’s great to see a local business bringing this kind of energy and character to its space - and attracting attention well beyond Rasmussen in the process!

Less than two months after taking over management and leasing of Paradise Garden Shopping Village in Thornlands, GEON has secured its first leasing deal at the centre.

Cignall has committed to a new five-year lease over a 35sqm tenancy and is now open and trading. The store is operated by an experienced multi-site franchisee with a number of Cignall locations across Brisbane.

The new operator adds to Paradise Garden’s established mix of retail, dining, health and service-based businesses, further strengthening the centre’s convenience offering for the local community.

The deal reflects GEON’s focus on actively managing leasing opportunities and securing operators that complement the tenancy mix and support the long-term performance of our clients’ assets.
