Setting the standard from day one protects your home, your tenants and your long term return.
1. The property must meet all South Australian minimum housing requirements.
2. Working, compliant smoke alarms must be installed and tested.
3. All council rates, water, strata, and any other property related accounts must be current.
4. A valid building insurance policy must be held at all times.
5. The home must be cleaned & presented in a move in ready condition.
6. Lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas must be tidy and maintained prior to leasing.
7. Any known repairs, safety issues, or outstanding maintenance must be addressed before advertising.
8. All electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, and appliances must be safe and in working order.
9. The property must be free from pests at the commencement of the tenancy.
10. Landlords must ensure the property is accessible for professional photography, open inspections, and routine inspections.
And most of all, you must be willing to maintain your property as maintenance arises.
