End of financial year, Hobart market wrap 📈

What a year it’s been. Greater Hobart dwelling values are up 9.3% over the past 12 months, now sitting around $752,000 on average. Stock stayed tight all year, days on market kept falling, and buyers who hesitated often missed out.

Sorell and the Dodges Ferry corridor were one of the standout performers across the whole of Greater Hobart, posting annual growth of 11.6%.

Flat land, more sun, and a genuine lifestyle offering close to the city have kept this pocket firmly on buyers’ radars, and that demand shows no sign of slowing heading into the new financial year.

As soon as the market starts to churn again; don’t find yourself on the back foot rushing to market with everybody else. By then - the uptick in supply will swing in buyers favour.
