Congratulations to Waratah Warriors Cricket Club, who took home the trophy and title of Whittles Premier Champions at the 2026 T20 NT Cricket Finals on Sunday, July 26th.

The boys shone with team spirit from the first ball until the last wicket, defeating Darwin Cricket Club by 7 wickets, following on from their win against Nightcliff in the Semi Finals.

Sponsoring the Premier T20 with NT Cricket has been a great opportunity for our Darwin branch, with our Body Corporate Manager, Tanya Verwey enjoying the game up-close and personal after kicking off the game with a coin toss.

Going green for a better future, residents of our Parkside community have been awarded $5,000 through the CHU Green Grant Program, helping bring a thoughtful sustainability initiative to life.

While the funding will be used to plan and install self-watering fruit and vegetable planters across their balconies and terraces, this project goes beyond growing fresh produce. It’s also about creating opportunities for residents to connect, share common interests, and build community in a safe, inclusive and welcoming space.

Community gardens have long been recognised for their social and environmental benefits, and we’re excited to see this initiative help the Parkside community grow together.

July is the coldest month of the year, and a brisk reminder to get ahead of any seasonal maintenance issues before they soak up your sinking funds.

Here’s our quick winter checklist:
- Inspect and clean gutters and downpipes
- Trim overhanging branches
- Remove fallen debris and leaves from gardens
- Clear balcony drains and common area grates to prevent flash flooding
- Remind residents to report any leaks and ensure their homes are well ventilated to prevent mould build-up
