What draws buyers to Sunrise Beach?

Rachael sat down with Clint from Suter Smith Cleine to chat about the schools, sense of community and coastal lifestyle that make Sunrise Beach so appealing.

Over the past five months, we have purchased four homes in Sunrise Beach through Clint and Tyron. Each client had their own vision for their next chapter and Sunrise Beach offered the lifestyle they were looking for.

Last night at Ikigai House in Doonan was a beautiful opportunity to hear owner and designer Allie Davey of Koselig Design Studio share the thinking behind her home.

What stayed with me was her commitment to designing for the way we live, with sustainability guiding choices that will stand the test of time. Natural light, connection to the landscape and materials that become more beautiful with age, a home created to be enjoyed for years to come.

A new chapter, with someone by her side 🤍

A very particular brief. A four-week window. Clarity on what mattered most guided every step.

For our client, finding her next home was about how she wanted to live. A beautiful garden outlook. Nature close by. Natural light throughout the home. A sense of belonging within a community.

Her brief was particular and we had four weeks before she headed away for a holiday. If we hadn’t found the right home, we would pause until November.

That timeframe gave our search focus, while her priorities guided every decision. We explored properties, talked through their compromises and built a clear understanding of value in the local market. Each conversation helped us recognise what truly felt right for her.

Then this beautiful home came along, bringing together so much of what she had hoped for.

Her purchase became unconditional just three days before she left, a beautiful way to begin her holiday, knowing her next chapter was waiting for her when she returned. 🤍

Moving to Noosa was a lifestyle decision. Helping others make that move has become one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I know what it means to leave behind family, familiar faces and routines for somewhere you hope will feel like home.

I’ve come to appreciate how much the little things matter. Finding your favourite morning walk, a café where you’re recognised, people you look forward to seeing.

That experience shapes the way I support my buyers. Alongside finding their home, I love sharing the local knowledge and connections that help them begin to feel part of life here.

There’s something very special about watching someone settle into a place that has given me so much.
