What a day. 🏆 Five agencies stepped up to Foodbank WA's Meal Makers Challenge and went head-to-head in Battle of the Agencies.

We're proud to say Noble Avenue took out the win, with LJ Ho**er giving us a very close run for it.

But the real win was what this raised for West Australians doing it tough and the awareness spread. Thank you to everyone who donated, cooked, shopped and showed up.

We feel incredibly lucky to live and work in a community like this. 150 bunches of daffodils sold out within hours yesterday at our Daffodil Day stalls, raising $2,098.40 for Cancer Council WA.

People stopped on their way to work. Families came by with their kids. Regulars who come back every single year. Every conversation is a reminder of why this day matters so much to so many people.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward cancer research, prevention programs and support services for West Australians and their families.

To everyone who stopped by, donated, or simply said hello - thank you. Days like this are why we love being part of this community. 💛

After this year's Sleeping Bag Appeal, we received this message from reiwa.com CEO Blaine Slater:

"The real estate community has always rallied together when people need support, and this appeal was another reminder of how our members carry that spirit into their local communities."

The truck broke down on collection day. So the REIWA team loaded three cars - stuffed to the brim - and drove every donation in themselves.

That is the kind of community this appeal brings out in people.

To everyone who dropped something into our box in Hillarys this winter - The Salvation Army is already distributing your donations through their Doorways service. Every item is going to someone who needs it.

Here is what else we saw.

Downsizer demand is particularly active in Duncraig and Kallaroo.

Buyer activity remains strong in the $800K–$1.4M range across Hillarys, Karrinyup and Carine.

Homes that went to market well-prepared continued to outperform those that didn't.

And the WA Government announced proposed changes to R20 zoning that could affect thousands of homeowners in our suburbs.

Noble Avenue Real Estate will be taking part in the Foodbank WA Meal Makers Challenge on Friday, August 14th. It is a team event designed to raise awareness and support for West Australians experiencing food insecurity.

Our team will shop at Foodbank using a real client budget, plan a nutritious meal with the ingredients available, cook it alongside a chef, and then serve the meal back to Foodbank clients.

If you would like to donate, here's what your donation actually does:
$1 = 2 meals.
$21 = feeds a child for a fortnight.
$45 = feeds a person for a month.
$90 = feeds a family for a fortnight.
