In The News: Waterloo Secures Major HDA Approval

Our Waterloo mixed-use precinct has secured approval through the NSW Government’s Housing Delivery Authority pathway, paving the way for 826 Build-to-Rent apartments in Sydney’s inner south.
 
Located on the corner of Danks and Young Streets the 2.1 hectare precinct will bring together rental living, retail, dining, wellbeing and public space with architecture by SJB, Bates Smart, Curious Practice and Chenchow Little Architects.
 
As the largest housing development approved through the HDA pathway to date, this milestone marks an important step towards delivering new housing at scale in a highly connected inner-city location.
 
The approval was featured on 7NEWS Sydney over the weekend, highlighting the scale of Waterloo and the role Build-to-Rent can play in increasing housing supply and choice for Sydney renters.
 
Construction is well underway, with Waterloo to be operated by Nation upon completion.

In conversation: Western Sydney’s feasibility challenge.
