Our team is on-site delivering a critical Make Safe project for a residential complex facing a high-risk hazard: unsafe balcony balustrades.

When existing railings become a liability, immediate intervention is essential to protect both residents and the public below.

To mitigate the risk without restricting balcony access, we engineered a non-invasive, temporary protection system:
• Kattsafe Australasia GW1 installation: Aluminium guardrails installed across affected balconies
• Strategic positioning: Installed between the facade and existing balustrades to create a physical buffer and prevent load on compromised structures

The South Pacific Apartments faced significant structural challenges. Years of harsh salt-air exposure had led to severe concrete spalling, water ingress, and general deterioration. As our largest project of 2025, the Anchor Safe Rope Access team stepped in to restore the building’s strength and style from the top down.
