While the cat's away...

The family are all in the UK for the next 10 days, so life at home is currently remarkably quiet and peaceful. The house is immaculate, I wake up every morning and it's still immaculate, and I'm beginning to wonder why I've spent the last 30-odd years making life so complicated. I've got one knife, one fork, one spoon, one plate and one cup in circulation. The dishwasher feels abandoned, and I've never eaten so many cornflakes and tins of beans in my life. 😂

I'm also rather enjoying proving that I can actually multitask while the rest of THEHOOLYTEAM are away! Today I'm helping an upcoming seller get their property ready for market. I'm taking our community trailer over to collect some excess bulky furniture and bringing it back to the office, where it'll be stored securely in one of our three 20ft shipping containers — completely free of charge. Getting some of the clutter out before photography and video can make an enormous difference to how a home looks online, and it's just one of those little things we can do to make getting ready to sell a bit easier.

And after all this hard work, I'm taking a sneaky Friday off and may just disappear out on the boat for a day's fishing. While the cat's away... 😁
