A major external refresh for Fitness Cartel. đź’Ş

GFG Projects transformed the external areas surrounding Fitness Cartel’s new Toowoomba gym facility, upgrading the site to create a safer, more functional and accessible environment.

The works included:
• Replacement of approximately 2,800m² of asphalt car parking
• New concrete retaining walls replacing ageing timber infrastructure
• New stormwater, fire hydrant and water main infrastructure
• Upgraded vehicle access and crossovers
• New landscaping and planting throughout the site

From the ground up, the upgrade has given the existing property a fresh new look while delivering the infrastructure needed to support its next chapter.

And while we were focused on the outside, we couldn’t help but share a peek at what’s happening inside… 👀 How good does this place look?! Great work, Fitness Cartel team!

There’s no better measure of a project than seeing the difference it makes in people’s lives.

Months after completing Mangrove Housing’s The Forgotten Women program in Capalaba, we’re incredibly proud to see 15 women aged over 55 who had experienced homelessness settling into these safe and secure homes.

As the builder, we’re proud to have played our part in delivering a development that provides more than just a place to live.

For GFG Projects, being part of projects that make a genuine difference in the communities where we live and work is something we value deeply. It’s about using what we do to help create places that have a lasting and positive impact on people’s lives.

To now see that impact firsthand is incredibly rewarding, and a reminder of why what we build matters.

The project was featured on A Current Affair, shining a light on the women, their stories and the importance of providing safe and secure housing.

Winner, winner! 🏆 GFG Projects is proud to have taken home a Master Builders Award for the RDO Equipment Emerald facility, winning its category at the Central Queensland awards night.

It was a great night celebrating alongside the RDO Equipment team, and a pretty special moment for everyone involved in delivering this one.

The purpose-built facility features a central office, expansive showroom, parts warehouse, workshop, wash bay and hardstand area – all delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.

It’s been a privilege to partner with RDO Equipment Australia once again – and even more special to see another RDO Equipment project recognised at the Master Builders Awards, following the success of the Toowoomba facility in its own awards year.

We’re incredibly proud of the GFG Projects team whose hard work, collaboration and attention to detail helped bring the Emerald project to life.

We've officially handed over the new Allied Health Rehabilitation Centre for Fit Lab in Toowoomba!

Designed to bring treatment and training together under one roof, the new facility features:

✔️ Four consultation rooms
✔️ Six physiotherapy treatment rooms
✔️ A dedicated Pilates studio
✔️ A large open gym area
✔️ Reception, offices, and amenities

Bringing the space to life required detailed coordination of building services, along with the careful integration of clinical treatment spaces and open-plan fitness areas to create a seamless experience for staff and clients alike.

Congratulations to the Fit Lab team on their fantastic new facility. We're proud to have delivered this quality healthcare project for the Toowoomba community and look forward to seeing the positive impact it has for years to come.

Community is built in many ways, and supporting local events is one of them.

GFG Projects was proud to sponsor the Condamine Cods Ladies Day, an event that brought together more than 300 attendees from across the Western Downs to celebrate country rugby, community spirit and the connections that make regional communities so strong.

Congratulations to our Site Manager, Heath Gniel, on reaching 30 years with FKG Group.

Since joining GFG Projects, Heath has become a key part of our team, bringing decades of practical experience, strong leadership and a no-fuss approach to every project. He's someone who gets on with the job, leads by example and is always willing to back the people around him.

Staff from GFG Projects recently took some time to visit Queensland Fire Department stations across Toowoomba, delivering a few sweet treats and thanking local firefighters for the work they do to keep our community safe.

At the East Toowoomba station, the alarms sounded as we arrived and the crew was called into action - a timely reminder of the important role our first responders play every day. We were fortunate to spend some time with Superintendent Kent Barron and learn more about the people behind the service.

As part of our visit, GFG were also proud to make a donation to the Queensland Firefighters Charity, supporting the important work they do for firefighters and their families across the state.

A small gesture can never fully repay the dedication of our first responders, but we're proud to show our appreciation and support for those who give so much to our community.

Thank you to all Queensland Fire Department personnel for the work you do, every single day.

As builders, we often talk about projects, programs and milestones. But sometimes, it's the stories behind the doors that matter most.

For Desley, receiving the keys to her new home meant something she had almost lost hope of finding - security, stability, and a place to belong. After years of uncertainty, she and her sweet companion Milly now have a home to call their own.

We are humbled to have played a small part in delivering these homes alongside Mangrove Housing and our project partners. Stories like Desley's are a powerful reminder that social housing changes lives.

Because everyone deserves a place to feel safe, supported and at home.
