Exciting Infrastructure Update for Cosgrove Estate.

Great things are happening in and around Cosgrove Estate!

Works are commencing on a significant new road infrastructure project that will improve connectivity and support the continued growth of the Northern Beaches corridor. The project includes the extension of Bayswater Road and the construction of a new signalised intersection, creating an important new connection into Cosgrove and helping unlock future housing opportunities.

As part of these works, please note:

Mount Louisa Walking Track will be temporarily closed from Monday 26 October
Expected closure period: approximately 4 weeks (weather permitting)
New traffic infrastructure to improve access into Cosgrove
Increased construction activity in the area during works

We appreciate the patience and understanding of our residents, visitors and walking track users while these important improvements are delivered.

Cosgrove continues to grow, with investment in key infrastructure helping create a more connected and accessible community for current and future residents.

Works are about to get underway on critical new traffic infrastructure to unlock more housing in the fast-growing northern suburbs.

The 4-week project will deliver a vital traffic connection into the Cosgrove development and will include an extension of Bayswater Road and the installation of a signalised intersection.

This is another example of Council working together with local developers like Parkside Land to deliver vital infrastructure to get more houses built, faster.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 - the Mount Louisa Walking Track will be temporarily closed from Monday to enable the works. It's expected to reopen late November 2026, subject to weather.

Work on the Woolcock and Weston Streets intersection will also continue.

Please obey all safety and directional signage. We appreciate the patience of local residents, regular track users and motorists during this important project.

STAGE 601 | COSGROVE – Another Milestone Reached!

Stage 601 at Cosgrove is now nearing completion of its civil works, with the final stages of construction well underway.

A number of key finishing works have now been completed, including:

Street signage installed
Asphalt finalised throughout Stage 601
Acoustic wall freshly painted
Retaining walls nearing completion
Landscaping and new entry features commencing shortly

And importantly, Stage 601 is now ready for Valuations & Soil Testing, marking another exciting milestone for our future homeowners.

The final QA documentation is currently being collated and will shortly be submitted to Council as part of the finalisation process.
