Swinley Forest, Greater Ascot - Stage 809 & Stage 810 Construction Update

We are pleased to advise that civil works for Stages 809 and 810 are now substantially complete, with final quality assurance documentation currently being prepared for submission to Council.

We continue to anticipate registration in July 2026.

Recent progress includes the planting of street trees throughout the stages, further enhancing the streetscape and community feel. Electrical infrastructure is progressing, with light poles installed and final electrical works continuing over the coming weeks.

The shared pathway network adjoining the Bohle River is also progressing, creating a beautiful recreational connection for future residents to enjoy.

Major Infrastructure Upgrade Coming to Cosgrove

Parkside Development is proud to deliver the new Weston Street / Woolcock Street Signalised Intersection as part of the continued growth of the Cosgrove Estate in Townsville.

Location: Weston Street & Woolcock Street Intersection, Townsville
Construction Commencing: Late May 2026
Expected Completion: Early 2027

This major infrastructure project will upgrade the existing unsignalised intersection to a fully signalised intersection, improving safety, accessibility, and traffic flow for the growing Cosgrove community and surrounding areas.

Key features of the project include:
Traffic signals on all approaches
Signalised pedestrian crossings for safer access
Improved traffic flow and reduced congestion
Safer turning movements and reduced crash risks
Improved access from Weston Street
Enhanced pedestrian safety and accessibility
Supports the delivery of over 1,600 new homes within Cosgrove

This project is proudly supported by the Queensland Government through the Residential Activation Fund, with funding of $14.6 million.
