A beautiful moment from yesterday’s Sunday Long Lunch ❤️

When it was time to sing Happy Birthday to our lovely guests who let us celebrate their milestones with them, we made sure to include our own birthday boy too.

Enzo was quietly taking it all in from his corner, so we brought over a candle and ensured he joined in.

At 93 years young, seeing him smile as everyone sang was a beautiful reminder of what makes our restaurant so special — good food, great company, and shared moments.

A much-loved part of our kitchen and family, Enzo has helped create countless meals over the years, so it felt only right to celebrate him alongside our guests.

Happy 93rd birthday, Enzo. ❤️🎂🇮🇹

Still pinching ourselves seeing our little corner of the world featured as one of the top food and wine town destinations in Australia by Australian Traveller Magazine🫶

Willunga was ranked number one in the Food and Wine category and seventh overall, placing it firmly among the top ten towns to visit in Australia.

So much heart, history, hard work and family love tucked into these walls and views… and it’s pretty special seeing that shine through.

Four generations, countless Sunday lunches, celebrations, shared bottles of wine, long conversations and homemade Italian food later — this place still means everything to us.

A very proud moment seeing our venue included amongst such beautiful Fleurieu gems ❤️

Mother’s Day has a way of bringing everything back into focus… 🌸

It’s the quiet things, really.
The lunches packed without fail.
The weekends spent on the sidelines, cheering like it is the grand final… every single time.
The chauffeuring then waiting in the car, the running around, the “did you remember everything?” as you rush out the door.

She is always there — no fuss, no spotlight… just there.
And somehow, still holding everything together while bringing everyone back around the table.

You don’t realise it at the time… but that is love, in its simplest form.

If anyone deserves a special gift like this… it’s Mum 🤍
