What I wish every buyer knew before starting their search. 🏡

After working with so many buyers across the Fraser Valley, here are the three things I always wish people knew from day one:

1️⃣ Get your pre-approval FIRST — not after you fall in love with a home. Knowing your real budget changes everything.

2️⃣ The "perfect" home doesn't exist — but the right home does. Be clear on your must-haves vs. nice-to-haves before you start touring.

3️⃣ The process takes longer than most people expect — and that's okay. Give yourself time, and lean on your realtor to guide each step.

The days of long lineups at the door for presales may be behind us for now, but today’s market is creating a different kind of opportunity for Buyers.

I remember working at Yorkson Creek back in 2011, when we would go five to six hours straight without a break, welcoming Buyers through these newly constructed homes. It’s hard to believe this photo was taken 15 years ago!
