Peter founded Simcoe Home Inspection Services in 1989. In the past 21 years he has completed over 10,000 home inspections. His background as the Chief Building Official for the Township of Tay and 12 years in the construction industry has garnered a thorough knowledge of building construction, and building science.

- Successful completion of Ministry of Housing training courses on plumbing inspection, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning inspection, solid fuel burning appliance inspection, Legal process and responsibilities, and the Ontario Building Code.
