Touring homes this fall? Here's what to look for beyond the pretty staging! 🏡🍂

✔️ Look up. Water stains on ceilings can point to roof or plumbing issues.

✔️ Open the windows and doors. Do they stick or feel drafty? That can mean higher heating bills this winter.

✔️ Ask about the big-ticket items. How old are the roof, furnace, AC and water heater?

✔️ Check the water pressure. Turn on the taps and flush the toilets.

✔️ Visit at different times. Drive by in the evening and on weekends to get a real feel for the neighbourhood.

✔️ Always get a home inspection. It's one of the best investments you can make.
