🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡
Today, we pause to remember and honour the children who never made it home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry the impacts of this painful history.
Truth comes before reconciliation. Today is a reminder to listen, learn, reflect, and recognize the lasting effects of residential schools on Indigenous peoples and communities across Canada.
We wear orange to honour the children and to stand in support of the Survivors, their families, and all Indigenous communities.
Every Child Matters 🧡
