Curious about cohousing, but not sure where to start?

Join our online info session on Tuesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. Pacific. We’ll introduce Courtenay Cohousing and make room for your questions about the homes, community life, membership and timing.

We’re creating a neighbourhood of private homes with shared spaces and more opportunities to connect in everyday life. You don’t need to arrive ready to join—or do homework beforehand.

Want to meet some of us in person afterward? We’re gathering at Quayside Village Cohousing in North Vancouver for our next members’ retreat, and you’re welcome to join the public hike and dinner on Friday, October 16, 3–7:30 p.m. Pacific.

Ground is moving. Community is growing.

The civil works are underway at our Larsen Road site, and it’s exciting to see our future neighbourhood taking shape. Meanwhile, we’re getting together, sharing meals, and making room for more people to get to know us.

This fall, there’s a way to connect whether you’re in Vancouver, in the Comox Valley, or joining from farther away:

• October 6, 7 p.m. Pacific — online info session
• October 16, 3–7:30 p.m. Pacific — public hike and dinner in North Vancouver (not the full members’ retreat); register for the arrangements as they’re confirmed
• October 21, 8 p.m. Pacific — online info session
• November 1, 3 p.m. Pacific — tour the land and join an info session in Courtenay

VICTORIA! — we’re hosting a BBQ in the park on Saturday, August 8 for our Cohousing community (which is now in construction!). Please share widely!

Join us for a relaxed summer BBQ at Beckwith Park and get to know Courtenay Cohousing, a new community in the Comox Valley. Meet some of the people creating the community, hear what’s taking shape, and bring your questions about cohousing and a different way of living.

We’ll be grilling hot dogs, with veggie options available. The playground and splash park are right next to us, and you’re welcome to bring a camp chair if you like.

VANCOUVER! — we’re hosting a garden party on Wednesday, August 5.... please come, and spread the word.

Come enjoy a relaxed evening in a beautiful community-run garden, meet some of the people involved, and learn more about the new cohousing community we’re creating in Courtenay.
We’ll share a little about why we’re building it, where things are at, and what’s coming next. It’s also a chance to ask questions, connect with good people, and enjoy a potluck evening together.
