We promised details and here it is! We have been working so hard at the shop to unpack and get ready for the sample sale, but it’s small compared to what’s going on in the Okanagan. Round the clock rescues, planning evacuations within minutes. Shifting winds that change fire directions and hardly enough time to grab all you care about and try to escape faster than the fire is moving. So as busy, tired and hot as we are in the shop- it’s nothing compared to their scary reality. The flower sales are incredible. I will be whispering to my flowers tonight to grow a little faster please. I love chatting with you all; sadly we come together in times like these right?! But community is built during tragedy and this binds us together. Thank you everyone for how much you care. I know we are only a clothing boutique, but really that’s just the bones. Because beyond that, we are full of heart, shared moments, memories and gathering of kindness. If you don’t know what we too have been through, it probably sounds airy fairy and quite silly. But I will tell you, we have been through the flames and we stand with those who are experiencing this now. See you all soon. Until then, do what you can to make a difference.
