This one is a great reminder that real estate isn’t always about the size of the deal it’s about finding exactly what your client needs. ❤️

This wonderful client was referred to me by an amazing couple whose friend was looking for an affordable way to come home to Ontario after spending years in Alberta. With the cost of living and housing in Ontario, finding an affordable option for retirement isn’t always easy.

But we found it! 🙌 This property offered her an affordable alternative to renting and, most importantly, a place she can call her own.

🏡 This One Will Go Down in the History Books! 🏡

What a journey this was for my amazing clients!

It all started back in April, when we submitted our first offer on a beautiful home in Port Hope. Unfortunately, the sellers weren’t willing to accept an offer conditional on the sale of my clients’ home.

After living in their family home for 37 years, my clients understandably didn’t want to sell first and risk being without a home or feel pressured into settling for a property they didn’t absolutely love.

We continued looking at other homes, but no matter how many we saw, they kept coming back to this one. It was the one. ❤️

So, we decided to try again. The property had been on the market since October 2025, and by June, we thought why not give it another shot?

Then things got interesting! Another offer came in on the property, also conditional on the sale of the buyer’s home, which was located in Durham Region. I knew my clients had a great home and believed we could get it sold quickly. I asked them to put their trust in me and give me the opportunity to make this happen.

And we did! 🙌

Their home sold for the full asking price of $629,900 within just 30 hours of hitting the market and officially sold firm only 8 days after being listed! 🎉

Fast-forward to July and round three. We submitted our third offer on the Port Hope property, and this time, everything finally fell into place.

🔑 PURCHASED their dream home.

After 37 years in their family home, my clients are beginning an exciting new chapter in a home they truly love.

Some transactions are extra special, and this was definitely one of them.

There is no greater compliment than having a client trust you a second time. After helping him before, I was honoured to be asked to help find the perfect home for this next chapter.

We explored a couple properties together, but from the moment we walked into this one, we knew it was different. What made it even more meaningful was knowing it wasn't just about finding the right home for my client it was about finding a home where his aging mom could comfortably enjoy every space and truly feel at home.
