I think people underestimate
how much of a luxury it is
to genuinely like your normal day

not the holiday
not the birthday
not the reservation
literally Wednesday

the real luxury is loving your everyday life!

At RE/MAX nova today
while Ewok was laying down relaxing
at the door to the office

I was super busy behind him
on my laptop
getting things prepared
for an awesome home
I am listing for sale soon
at 76 Wilmot Street in Lower Sackville

I have a photographer lined up
to take photos tomorrow afternoon

I am so excited to share it with you
you will definitely want to see this gem!!

Things have been buzzing lately!

a closing in Milford on Friday

I did lots of showings
with different families
over the weekend

on Monday I put in an offer to purchase
a home in Windsor Junction
for one of those families

and now I need to sell their home
as fast as possible
to make the deal complete

I have more showings booked
for the end of the week
all over HRM and one in Digby
as well as an open house
I am hosting in Halifax on Saturday

Everything is rolling well
and I owe all of you

Shout out to the most caring,
compassionate and loving
school bus driver ever!!! 💕💕💕

When Ewok and I
walk up our court
with Gabriel and Summer
to meet the school bus in the mornings
Ewok is super sad seeing them go
he is desperate to stay by their side

Ewok is polite
when the door opens
he doesn’t jump or pull

he just looks up at the driver
with big brown eyes that say
‘Please sir,
I don’t know
where you are taking my babies
and it’s my job to make sure they are safe!’

Today the kind driver asked me
if Ewok was welcomed onto the bus
would he actually come up

I laughed and replied
‘He sure would!!’

The driver smiled at Ewok and told him
‘You can come say goodbye

Ewok did not hesitate at the invitation!

He boarded the bus
to see Gabriel sitting in the front row
Summer sitting behind him
and a bus full of kids
roaring with laughter
soooooo excited to have the dog
they’ve always waved at
through the windows
finally coming in to say hello

The driver came on the speaker system
with a magical, cheerful voice
announcing they had a special guest named Ewok who wants to make sure
Gabriel and Summer
get to their seats

Although I did capture a few seconds
I wish I had clicked video sooner
at least I have some pics
to cherish this memory

I wasn’t expecting
this wonderful gentleman
to start the day
for all of the kiddos on board
with so much happiness
this is what life is all about!!

Little interactions
that make the day brighter!! 💗

it’s time for us to get off
he would have loved to stay
with his new friends
they were all having so much fun!!

of my morning maple coffee

meditating on these words
‘BE STILL and know - Psalm 46:10

I feel I need to take a pic to share
because someone else seeing this now

also has things weighing
on their heart and in their mind

and are looking for signs
of reassurance and comfort ♥️

BE STILL and know

you can let go
you can surrender
you have done what you can do
let God do what He will do
in His perfect timing

BE STILL and know

you are strong
but He is stronger
you are not meant to walk alone
rely on Him
He does have your back

BE STILL and know

God does see your struggles
God does see your pain
God does see you forgive people
that will never offer an apology
He sees you staying humble
positive and faithful

BE STILL and know

you need to shift your focus
instead of feeling overwhelmed
acknowledge the power of our God
our God can move mountains
you need to trust Him

BE STILL and know

you are capable to rise up
stand tall
keep your internal and external posture
breathe
do not let anything steal your inner peace

BE STILL and know

you control how you react to situations
you control the thoughts in your head
you control your emotions
you control the present and the future
take responsibility
