🤔 How’s the market you ask?

Compared to last June, sales are up and prices are down for all home types in the 905.

Sales have been increasing steadily since the beginning of the year across the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board areas and have surpassed 2025 sales for the last 3 months.

Monthly prices though are the lowest they’ve been for the same months since 2023.

The average price in the GTA now reflects 2020-2021. For someone who bought 5-6 years ago, their equity is likely from mortgage pay down. If you purchased 10+ years ago, you still have both natural appreciation and mortgage pay down contributing to your home value. If you have done some renovations since you purchased a decade ago, you could have forced appreciation too.

Long time homeowners understand that real estate is best as a long game.
