Jeff and his family spent some time in Southampton, enjoying one of their favourite parts of summer: swimming in the lake, soaking up the sunshine, and embracing the slower pace of small-town life. Jeff also managed to fit in a golf getaway to Muskoka with good friends, beautiful cottage country scenery, and, hopefully, a few good rounds of golf! To finish off the month, the family joined extended family on Lake Simcoe, where there was no shortage of swimming, water sports, and plenty of time spent together on the water.
Cathy made her way to beautiful Saint-Agathe-des-Monts to spend time with old friends and family. She celebrated her nephew’s 40th birthday, a milestone that was also a big reminder of just how quickly the years go by, and enjoyed returning to the lake where her family spent so many summers together. Cathy’s grandkids lovingly call her “GoGo,” and she also spent a few days hosting Camp GoGo! From mini-golf and badminton to baking, crafts, and plenty of other activities, Cathy embraced her role as camp counsellor and, according to the grandkids, she may just be the best one around!
Kevin headed to Minden for some classic cottage time with his extended family. Watching the cousins spend quality time together is one of the best parts of these family getaways, although the matching family outfits might be a close second… Back home, Kevin has been enjoying the summer with Jenn and baby Vivienne, while also making sure his golf game stays up to par (ha!) and finding plenty of time to get out on the course.
