Thanksgiving weekend at is a beautiful way to welcome fall in the Highlands. Join us Saturday, October 10, from 10am–3pm for the annual Thanksgiving Festival, with the colours of the season as the backdrop and plenty to enjoy throughout the day.

Browse local vendors, listen to live music, enjoy a BBQ on the deck, and bring the kids along for games and activities. Take a chairlift ride for a different view of the autumn landscape, and be there for the special announcement of the chairlift’s new name.

The Q3 numbers are in and the Haliburton Highlands market continued to show positive year-over-year movement.

Waterfront led the way this quarter, with both the number of properties sold and average sale price increasing over Q3 2025. The off-water market remained steady, also posting modest gains in both sales and average price.

Overall, the numbers point to a market that continues to move, with waterfront showing particular strength through the summer months.

Of course, market statistics only tell part of the story. In cottage country, lake, location, exposure, shoreline and the individual property can have a significant impact on value.
