📢 Bank of Canada Update

The Bank of Canada has announced that it is holding its key interest rate at 2.25%.

The Canadian economy is showing signs of improvement, with consumer spending staying strong, exports increasing, and the housing market beginning to stabilize. While inflation has risen recently, much of that increase has been driven by higher gas prices. Looking beyond fuel costs, inflation remains much closer to the Bank's 2% target.

For buyers and sellers, today's announcement means borrowing costs remain unchanged for now. As always, interest rates are just one piece of the real estate puzzle. Your goals, timing, and local market conditions are just as important when deciding your next move.
