Marketing Intern – Summer Term Opportunity
Provident is a home builder and real estate developer serving the Metro Halifax area for over 35 years. We’re looking for a keen, creative, and enthusiastic intern to complete special marketing projects through the summer. Ideally, you are halfway through a post secondary education program specializing in marketing or public relations and are confident tackling the following tasks:
- Coordinating updates to the company website
- Developing educational resource short videos for clients
- Managing social meeting accounts with updates
- Hosting Open Houses to meet clients and direct them to the VP Sales
- Create marketing resources to better serve clients and trade partners
- Participate in providing Customer Service tools and procedures for a superior customer experience
Qualifications
- Self-starter who is honest and trustworthy
- Capable of making and editing videos with simple tools for a useable final product via YouTube channel
- Reliable
- Computer skills for producing professional brochures and print materials on a budget
- Education in business with an emphasis on marketing, advertising or public relations
- Comfortable meeting new people
- Interview skills for engaging contributors in the development of informational videos
- Comfortable managing outsourced providers of website service to complete updates to company website
- Willingness to research, plan and implement goals for the work term
- Strong writing & computer skills
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm. Fridays 8:am to noon. Sundays 12:30pm to 4:30pm.
Wage: $18/hour
