🌷 Spring momentum: 1,521 homes sold in April, up 15.2% month-over-month but down 4.3% year-over-year.

📈 Listings surged: 3,790 new listings hit the market, up 21.5% from March, giving buyers more choice.

🏡 Inventory rose to 4.3 months of supply, while days on market dropped to 33 (homes selling faster than March).

👇 Get to know Marieke a little more!

1. What are your goals at Community Professionals for 2026?

In my first year as a realtor, I’m really focused on building a solid foundation and getting into a good rhythm. My goal is to grow my network, stay consistent and show up regularly through social media, open houses, and local connections. I’m aiming to close as many deals as I can while learning as much as I can along the way—especially when it comes to working with clients, understanding contracts, and getting more confident overall. More than anything, I want to become someone people naturally think of when real estate comes up, and grow naturally with a solid base that is rooted in honesty and integrity.

2. What are you favourite hobbies and activities?

I am a big time book worm. I also love cooking, working out, gardening, trying new foods and places to eat and being with my family and friends.

3. What is my favourite food?

Too many to choose! Sour dough, ceviche, beef carpaccio, ice cream, CHOCOLATE, popcorn, a good reubin sandwich, banh mi, or a Philly cheesesteak really hits the spot too. Also any fruit that’s perfectly in season, like apples, strawberries and mangos.
