Join us for a one-day community art experience as we say goodbye to our beloved building before it comes down. This Propolis SPLASH event is your chance to celebrate the 422 Tranquille building history, share memories, and leave a creative mark on the space one last time.

Drop in anytime throughout the day to paint, connect with neighbours, and learn more about the new co-operative housing project that will take its place. Let’s come together to honour the past and imagine the future!

Join us May 1-3, 2026 for a series of free neighbourhood walking tours, exploring Kamloops in new ways, and connecting with new people.

Seasons greetings from the Propolis hive 🐝🌲🌟❤️

Our office will be closed from Dec 19 - Jan 5 while we hibernate, rest, and wait for the light to return.

2026 holds much promise and excitement, and more hard work ahead. Thank you to our community for supporting our vision of a community where everyone has access to the home they need.

What a year to celebrate! We're throwing a party, and you're invited 🎉

Join us for our 2025 Annual General Meeting and Party, on Aug 24 from 4-6pm, at the Kamloops Art Gallery.

🐝Enjoy entertainment from local musician Ruby Bruce, followed by an open mic featuring friends of Propolis
🐝Complimentary appetizers, beverages, and craft beer (keg generously donated by Abandoned Rail Brewing Co)
🐝Take in our Craftivism exhibit on the Open Gallery wall
🐝Learn about our impact and achievements over the past year, at our short AGM business meeting beginning at 5:30pm

All Propolis members, investors and community supporters are welcome. Note that only Propolis members can vote during the AGM business meeting.

Have you stopped by the Kamloops Art Gallery recently? Visit the Open Gallery wall to check out a special exhibit created by collaborators at Propolis Cooperative, Kamloops Food Policy Council, and the Kamloops Art Gallery.

As community organizers, it's our work to imagine different futures: housing for all, resilient local food, decolonization, de-commodification.

How do we make that work joyful? How do we sustain ourselves as we do it? This exhibit explores the ways we've been tapping into the creativity of the community to imagine different futures and work to make them real.

Join us for a workshop focused on building grassroots community change through craftivism!

Craftivism is the practice of using creative expression to strengthen our collective voice, engage our imaginations, and deepen our community organizing work for food sovereignty, affordable housing, and climate justice.

We'll create buttons and patches that you can take home with you or donate to be distributed at an upcoming Craftivism exhibition on the Open Gallery wall.

Materials and supplies are provided, and folks are welcome to bring their own materials and craftivism projects too! This is a free drop-in event, and everyone is welcome.

This workshop is co-hosted by Propolis Cooperative Housing Society, the Kamloops Food Policy Council and the Kamloops Art Gallery.

Thank you to everyone who joined our info sessions to learn about our plans for our 53-unit cooperative housing development at 422 Tranquille!

It was such a rewarding experience to share all the hard work and planning we've been up to behind the scenes. We were met with resounding positive feedback and support from the neighbourhood.
