🏡 September told three different stories in the Central Okanagan real estate market.

More homes selling doesn't always mean a hotter market, and September was a good reminder of that.

Townhome sales increased by nearly 10%, but active inventory grew by almost 6% too. So while more homes were changing hands, buyers still had options.

Detached homes remained in balanced market territory, while condos and townhomes continued to favour buyers.

The takeaway? There isn't just one Central Okanagan real estate market. Each property type tells a different story.

July 2026 Market Update 🏡

382 sales across the three major residential segments. Every segment: Balanced Market.

Single-family led with 205 sales, while townhomes were the only segment to gain month-over-month, up 1.45%.

Inventory tightened across the board, with single-family homes moving in 53 days and a median price of $940,000.

Summer activity has cooled, but the Central Okanagan market remains balanced.
