The latest numbers from the Association of Interior Realtors® are in, and there's a lot more nuance here than the headlines suggest.

While sales are down slightly across the association (-1.4%), the South Okanagan surged 26.6% in May — the biggest regional jump we've seen in months. Central Okanagan is steady and strong with a single-family benchmark holding near $1,063,000. And active listings are falling everywhere, which means less choice for buyers and more leverage for sellers.
