🏠 Helpers: If you have an empty home in the Okanagan and you’re open to hosting evacuees, comment your area below (West Kelowna, Vernon, Peachland, wherever you are) so people can find someone close. 👇

🚗 Evacuees: Check the comments, reply or DM someone directly so they see it. People helping people.

‼️ I’m not involved in any stay and I don’t make a dollar from these evacuee stays. This post is just the bulletin board.

6,000 people have been evacuated. This smoke isn’t a filter. 🔥

The fire above Westside Road is out of control and crews worked through the night.

I’ve spent nearly 10 years in short-term rentals in Canada. The one thing I can do right now is use this platform to get visibility for the people who need it.

If you’re on alert, don’t wait for the order. Bag packed, documents, go plan. 🎒

Check on your people.

They need to hear it from thousands of us, not just one. 🔁

💰💰💰 I paid 3x the price for “Premium” and WestJet showed up with a Swoop plane.

👉 This isn’t a one-off failure; it has become a consistent pattern that many of you have watched me deal with in real time.

Read that again. 💀

🛫 I fly WestJet 40 times a year. I am not a casual traveler looking for a reason to complain. I am a Business Class customer who values time and consistency, but the current state of Canadian aviation has become unacceptable.

❌ It is not just about the frequent flyers. It is ridiculous for families who simply want to take a vacation but find it impossible due to wild prices, constant delays, cancellations, and heavy taxes.

🇨🇦For many Canadians, a simple trip is now out of reach because of the lack of competition and the sharp decrease in service standards.

👎 We have fewer options than almost any country our size. Instead of competing for our business, our carriers are cutting corners and hiking fares because they know choices are limited.

I want to support Canadian. I want to stay loyal.

🤷‍♂️But loyalty is a two-way street and WestJet is bankrupting their long standing loyal customers trust and loyalty. 🇨🇦
