I gave myself a little time out this morning and went for a walk. A fractured hand has made the gym a little tricky right now, so I figured a quiet morning in nature was a pretty good alternative.

I ended up stopping at a spot in Kitchener I’d never been to before, and then came across this beautiful blue heron. I stood there for a few minutes just taking it all in.

I find nature grounding. I’m really glad I switched things up today.

Some clients become so much more than clients.

I first met Nick and Nicole a couple of years ago while showing them a rural property I had listed for sale. It wasn’t the right fit at the time, but we stayed in touch, enjoyed many showings together, and built a great friendship along the way.

Today, they’re living their dream on 100 acres up north, and I’ve had the privilege of helping them sell their Paris home. Being part of both chapters of their journey has been incredibly special.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting my first-time home buyers... for the first time.

We’d spent months working together from opposite sides of the country. Every conversation, every showing and every signature happened through video calls, phone calls and emails while they were living in Vancouver.

Yesterday, they finally walked through the front door of their very first Ontario home a beautiful 1960s backsplit backing onto greenspace.

Seeing their excitement made every call, email and late-night message worth it.
