A client who's basement flooded with all the crazy rain wanted me to come have a look after the contractor took off some walls and dried the basement out.

Insurance companies only repair the damage, they don't typically solve the issue. I was able to identify a location that was wet after every was dry.

This gives the client a location to further investigate to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Staining on a baseboard can be a sign of prior moisture. With the right tools active issues can be identified.

Yes you need a home inspection. Minorly swollen baseboards can indicate previous moisture, but with the right tools I can identify an active issue.

With the rain we're getting you should check your sump today. It is best to check it from the inside to ensure the float is funtioning.

This is a panel in an older home, someone upgraded the feed to the garage and stole the breaker for the oven.

This person spliced the oven with the dryer in a hidden location, this is a hazard and needs to be fixed!

Yes you need a home inspection to find the hidden things you can't see till you get a chance to dig deeper!
