Another wonderful week at the cottage with family from Edmonton and Windsor and it never gets old watching the cousins reunite. They were absolute best friends from the moment they arrived, like no time had passed at all. We packed in so much; swimming, kayaking, tubing, fishing, and even a few rounds of baseball and soccer on the lawn. The water was the heart of it all, but the excitement on the dock when the kids caught a fish was fun to watch! A shoutout to our amazing cottage neighbours Colin and Danielle and Cathy and Ron whose grandkids joined right in on the fun and took our crew out tubing. 💙

Some things really do run in the family. ⚽💙 Watching my granddaughter fall in love with soccer fills my heart more than words can say. ❤️ I played the game for almost 50 years and only hung up my cleats a few years ago, so seeing her out there with the same enthusiasm, determination, and competitive spirit brings back so many wonderful memories. 🥰 She was so excited with her 3 goals ⚽⚽⚽ and played with such confidence and heart. I have a feeling this is just the beginning! 🌟
I'm one very proud Nana 🩷 and wish our distance wasn't so far so I could cheer her on from the sidelines as she continues her soccer journey. 📣 Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that her three sisters catch the soccer bug too! 🤞 There would be nothing that would make me happier than cheering on all four of my granddaughters from the sidelines. ❤️ Keep having fun, Gwyn, work hard, and always believe in yourself. 💕 You've already stolen my heart, and apparently the ball too! 😉⚽
