🏡 "Sold Conditionally" — what does it actually mean?

It means a seller accepted an offer, but the deal isn't final yet. Here's what you need to know 👇

FOR BUYERS:

✅ The home isn't gone — conditions can fall through
✅ You can submit a backup offer
✅ In 2026, most sellers WILL accept conditions on financing + inspection
✅ Never waive a home inspection to "win" — it's not worth it

FOR SELLERS:

✅ Not the same as a firm sale — plan accordingly
✅ Ask your agent about an escape clause so you can keep showing
✅ A conditional offer from a strong buyer beats waiting for a firm offer that never arrives
✅ Most conditions resolve within 5–10 business days

The 5 most common conditions in Ontario:

1️⃣ Financing (mortgage approval)
2️⃣ Home inspection
3️⃣ Sale of buyer's existing home
